A Journey Starts with One Step.

I am working on my pitch booklet for meetings with the state representatives. This is an important first step - reaching out to those in government who can help me. To learn what I am going, I have just reached out to 2 so far. One has already responded. It looks like this rep may agree to meet with me. I have not heard from the other one, however, I am just starting here and its only been 6 days.

So...to that end...I need to get super busy with my pitch booklet and finish the darned thing. Took me forever just to get it launched, however, it is coming together nicely and I believe this doc will make or break any meeting I have.

I'm including letters of support, history of tail docking, what it is...complete with gruesome photos, samples of laws from some of the 14 states that already have legislation in place and overview of the problem listing pros and cons of tail docking.

As I get more and more information into the pitch, the purpose of what I am doing becomes so much more clear. I should be doing this...I decided to be their voice so I am following through using all of my skills and energy to do so.
